Lamp / Vase Building Workshop

With Rix Meaker

This hands-on workshop invites you to create a sculptural object in clay, designed as a vase or small decorative lamp form.

All materials are provided, including clay, tools and slips/underglazes. Firing is also included.

Suitable for beginners, the workshop covers:

• Basic hand-building techniques

• Form-making

• Surface texturing

• An introduction to drying and firing processes.

Finished works will be fired and participants will be notified of collection. 

Session times:

AM - 10am - 12.30pm

PM - 1.30pm - 4pm

Lamp/Vase Collection

Fired artworks returned to workshop participants (unless an alternative time has been confirmed prior with individuals).
